NORTH MIDDLESEX SAVINGS BANK SPONSORS NRWA AUCTION

For thirty-seven years, the Nashua River Watershed Association (NRWA) has actively sought to protect our water and to educate watershed inhabitants about conversation. Water has increasingly become a major concern in today's world: how clean is our water? How much is there? How well managed is it? The NRWA plays a unique role throughout the watershed: the non-profit organization monitors our water, strives to protect it and encourages "smart growth" land practices.

These efforts require support and the organization relies on membership donations and corporate support as an essential part of its operating budget. North Middlesex Savings Bank is a proud supporter of the NRWA and recently sponsored the NRWA Auction 2006.

The auction, held on Saturday, April 8, was a sold-out affair. Held at Devens Commons Center, the evening featured a silent auction, dinner and a lively live auction. Proceeds from the event will be used to fund the Association's Land, Water and Education Programs.
