WILLIAM P. MARSHALL ANNOUNCES OFFICER PROMOTIONS

William P. Marshall, President and CEO of North Middlesex Savings Bank, has announced that at a Board of Trustees Meeting held on June 26, 2006, two Officer promotions were approved.

Warren W. Chase, Jr., CPA, has been promoted to the position of Executive Vice President- Chief Operating Officer and Treasurer. Mr. Chase is responsible for the management of the Bank's investment portfolio, management information systems, corporate and management accounting programs, as well as loan and deposit operations, financial reporting, budgeting and branch acquisition analysis.

Carl S. Wiley has been promoted to Vice President, Commercial Loan Officer. Mr. Wiley is responsible for a loan portfolio customer base in excess of $22 million and growing. He has instituted a successful customer contact and calling program and is the chairman of the Staffing and Workflow Task Force to improve various functions within the Bank.

Both of these individuals have demonstrated the leadership skills and banking expertise that has contributed to the success of North Middlesex Savings Bank now and in the future.
